We here at The Arsenal would like to make a recommendation for all SysOps
running multiple CD-ROM's on their board. If you have multinode or
multidisc capacity on your board, you are going to need a good CD-ROM
management utility to keep your callers happy and your board running.
The one that we suggest is the EZRom system produced by Mike Robinson
of the Soft Parade BBS.
EZRom includes all of the things needed to make such powerful equipment
as the Pioneer Multichangers work on a BBS, as well as being able to
control such things as user access, how the files are handled, device
contention, and batch downloading. You can control any random access
file storage media accessable by DOS with this door, including your
magnetic hard drives, and make one integrated area for your callers to
go to for finding their files.
For your convenience, we have included a copy of EZRom on this disc,
along with a complete setup for this disc. If you find it of use,
you can register it very reasonably with the author.
It's simply the best solution for BBS CD-ROM use.
